How it works
Your people go through EagleSafe, EagleSafe asks the directory who they are, and only then opens access: to the company network, the Private Cloud and your websites and web applications. No open ports.
Animated diagram: how EagleSafe grants access
People, on any device, reach EagleSafe through zero trust access. EagleSafe checks who they are with the company directory, linked by the connector using outbound traffic only, or with external identity providers such as Entra ID, Google and Okta. It asks for the second factor and only then opens access to the company network and applications, the Private Cloud and the company’s websites and web applications, which hand sign-in over to EagleSafe through OpenID Connect or SAML. Neither the company nor the Private Cloud has any ports open to the Internet: attacks find nothing to hit.
Where are the passwords?
In your company directory, always. EagleSafe asks the directory whether a password is correct, but never stores it.
What does EagleSafe see?
The users and groups in your directory, synced in read-only mode and kept up to date continuously. It cannot change them and never sees passwords.
What happens if our directory can’t be reached?
Known sign-ins keep working for a while, so work doesn’t stop because of a temporary outage.
Can we use Microsoft Entra ID or Google?
Yes, and other providers such as Okta or JumpCloud too. People are recognised on first sign-in and kept up to date on every sign-in after that; several providers can work side by side.
Do we need to install anything?
The directory connector, on a Windows server, and, if you choose it, the Windows Login MFA component on your PCs.
